20MW Photovoltaic Power Station Project of EVE Started! The CERS of CO2 is Equivalent to Planting 930,000 Haloxylon Trees per Year!

Today, the groundbreaking ceremony of the EVE - Sungrow 20MW photovoltaic power station project was officially held at the headquarter of EVE in Huizhou, Guangdong province. After the project is completed, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 16,734 tons per year, which is equivalent to planting 930,000 Haloxylon trees*.


Upholding the energy policy of 'provide green products for the society with better energy utilization efficiency', EVE implement a green manufacturing system to save energy, improve energy efficiency, optimize energy structure, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The project utilizes the company's park roof resources and ground parking lot resources in Huizhou, Guangdong province, and Jingmen, Hubei province to build distributed photovoltaic power stations with an installed capacity of about 20MW. Natural resources are fully and efficiently used.
As a pioneer in the new energy industry, EVE actively responds to national policies and actively assumes social responsibilities. It has previously been awarded the title of National Green Factory to achieve intensive land use, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy. After the completion of this photovoltaic power station project, it will further build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system for EVE, and finally realize the energy planning requirements of making full use of renewable energy and saving non-renewable fossil resources. It will also have a positive effect on the ecological environment of Huizhou and Jingmen and responding to climate change.
Technology promotes harmoniousness and guards the green. In the future, EVE will continue to explore and innovate, and use a green manufacturing system with more passion and strength to create green and energy-saving products and solutions, and contribute to global climate governance.
*Carbon emission data are estimates, and it is estimated that a Haloxylon tree can absorb 17.9kg of carbon dioxide in its lifetime
