EVE Energy's World's First 628Ah Ultra-Large Battery Energy Storage Station Connected to Grid, Secures Major 10GWh Order

January 31, 2026 – The world's first 400MWh energy storage station utilizing 628Ah ultra-large battery cells at scale was officially connected to the grid. The station is equipped with 80 sets of Mr. Giant 5MWh DC energy storage systems (integrating 628Ah cells with minimalist design) and 40 sets of power conversion and step-up integrated cabins. This milestone marks a crucial leap for the large battery technology roadmap championed by EVE Energy, transitioning from forward-looking exploration to grid-scale validation, solidifying a core foundation for the high-quality development of the energy storage industry.


Senior leaders from both parties, including Zhou Ziguan, Chairman of Beijing Guowang Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Guowang Technology"), and Steven Chen, Senior Vice President of EVE Energy, witnessed this pivotal moment. During the ceremony, Zheng Malin, Board Secretary and CFO of Beijing Guowang Technology, and Liu Hongguang, General Manager of Domestic Energy Storage Sales at EVE Energy, signed a strategic cooperation agreement for future 10GWh large battery systems, elevating the partnership to a new strategic level.

The successful commissioning of the Ruite New Energy Lingshou 200MW/400MWh independent energy storage project proves that the 628Ah large battery technology is fully capable of supporting the stable and efficient operation of grid-scale projects.


This conclusion is backed by the complete industrial chain built by EVE Energy through “Three Firsts” – being the first to announce, the first to mass-produce, and the first to deploy at scale. To date, the cumulative production of EVE Energy's large battery cells has exceeded 1 million units, receiving dual validation for both scale manufacturing and product maturity.


The system deployed deeply integrates EVE Energy's inherently safe cell technology and minimalist system integration philosophy. Through core innovations such as stacking process and high-toughness separators, it significantly enhances intrinsic safety while optimizing the Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS), precisely meeting the essential requirements of the new power system for energy storage core equipment: high safety, high efficiency, and long lifespan.
