Phase I of Lingshou Ruite New Energy 1GW/2GWh Flexible Independent Energy Storage Project Officially Completed

On August 29, Phase I of Lingshou Ruite New Energy 1GW/2GWh Flexible Independent Energy Storage Project was officially completed, successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. This is the first independent energy storage project jointly built by EVE Energy and Beijing State Grid Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing State Grid Power").

Phase I of Lingshou Ruite New Energy 1GW/2GWh Flexible Independent Energy Storage Project is located in Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, with a construction capacity of 300MW/600MWh. It is designed with the self-developed and self-produced lithium iron phosphate batteries and the liquid cooling energy storage scheme of EVE Energy. The power station is capable of independently participating in auxiliary services such as frequency regulation and peak shaving of the power grid as required.

At the completion ceremony site, leaders of Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Lingshou County Government attended the activity and witnessed the ceremony. Zhou Ziguan, Chairman of Beijing State Grid Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., Zhan Qijun, Chairman of Unionman Technology Co., Ltd., Liu Jianhua, President of EVE Energy Co., Ltd., and Liu Hongguang, General Manager of Domestic Sales Center of EVE Energy's energy storage business attended the event.

The successful grid connection and operation of Phase I of the project will enable the effective response to the problems such as large peak-valley difference and rapid change in power grid load, the provision of strong support for optimizing the power structure, the effective improvement for the insufficient regional power consumption, and the significant enhancement of the flexibility, reliability and safety of the regional power grid.

As this is the first independent shared energy storage project put into operation in Hebei Province this year, its operation is of great significance to help Hebei promote green transformation, facilitate high-quality development of the energy industry and achieve carbon neutrality.

 In the future, EVE Energy looks forward to more extensive and in-depth cooperation with Beijing State Grid Power in energy storage projects, so as to jointly serve major national strategic needs and make important contributions to achieving energy transition and the goals of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".
